Bathroom | Barons Hurst

This bathroom at Barons Hurst was designed as one thing only — hers. A personal sanctuary, and the brief reflected it: deep colour, real craftsmanship, and a room she wouldn't hesitate to make her own. Green and teal were the starting point, so we built the whole scheme around them.

The panelling and vanity unit are lambstongue Shaker, in-frame, with a traditional plinth — made from Tricoya MEDITE Extreme and Accoya, painted in Little Greene 'Pleat'. House of Hackney's Honeysuckle paper carries the colour up the walls above the rail. The drawers are jointed with strawberry joints and made from ash, and the vanity is topped in Carrara Giola marble, fitted with a CP Hart TOTO WU round undercounter basin. Brassware throughout — taps, shower valve, robe hook, towel rail, even the Matki shower door — is CP Hart Epoch, custom-finished in brushed gold to match. Floor tiles are Fayrouz Design's Rodrigo Wine; the shower is lined in Harmony Inspire white body tiles.
